About Alexandra

Alexandra is a published journalist and digital media professional with a Bachelors degree in Journalism and a Minor in Public Relations from St. Johns University.  During her senior year of college she worked as a contributing writer for her school paper, as well as an on-camera reporter covering entertainment news.

 

Currently she's the Assistant Social Media Editor at Cosmopolitan where she helps manage Cosmo.com's social channels, focusing on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Her role handles strategizing and implementing creative ideas to increase engagement and traffic for Cosmo social and Cosmopolitan.com. Prior to this, she worked at AOL.com, MTV Networks, Fuse TV and CBS Television Distribution where her experience spanned from social media, to communications, to digital.

 

She is extremely passionate about the entertainment industry, with high concentrations on online media and broadcast journalism. She is also highly knowledgeable about on-camera hosting, producing and editing.

Originally from Los Angeles, California she grew up fascinated with pop culture and trending content. Now, residing in New York City she's taken those passions mixed with her skills in the media world and is making a career for herself. When she's not perfecting her craft at work, she's also a Contributing Writer for EliteDaily.com, a Community Writer for Buzzfeed.com and manages her own lifestyle blog adaywithalex.com!
